Portability

Met One’s line of condensation nucleus counters (CNCs) monitor particulate contamination below the sensitivity (minimum threshold setting) of optical particle counters in ultra-clean gases. All CNC 1100 series models monitor inert gases such as argon, helium, and nitrogen, and the Model 1107 also safely samples oxygen and hydrogen.

Met One’s CNCs provide reliable sensitivity to five nanometers, high, 0.1 cfm flow rates for statistically signifiant counts, and a high signal-to-noise ratio for true zero counts. Independent from external vacuum systems, and featuring a large working fluid reservoir for continuous unattended operation these counters are well suited for either portable applications or facility monitoring systems.

Accessories include a non-shedding high-pressure diffuser for inert gases and oxygen between 30 and 150 psi, and utility software for remote, computer-controlled operation and data retrieval. Safety features of the CNC 1107 include interlocks between the nitrogen purge flow and sample flow, and a separate unit for the AC components.
