Model 2432 Particle Counting Manifold
Random
location sequencing Met Ones manifold system provides an economical approach to facility monitoring by allowing a single particle counter to monitor up to 16 or 32 sampling locations (Model A2431 or A2432). This system may be connected to a variety of different Met One particle counters, your choice depending on the particle sizes you need to monitor. As a stand-alone system, the particle counters can store and print particle count data (by location), alarm conditions, and Fed-Std-209E statistical calculations. The manifold system connects to a facility monitoring system using the standard communications port on the particle counter. Met Ones Class One/Windows™ software package can control the manifold, acquire and store data, provide graphic displays and trends, and generate reports. Ease of programming saves setup time, and will give you the flexibility to change your monitoring system as your needs change. For example, the programmed cycle may include up to 100 different sequence steps, and each sampling location may have unique alarm levels based on the particle contamination class at that location. Alarms can be audible or visible at the particle counter or both, or a signal may be generated for remote alarms. The manifold system uses a high-volume pump to assure continuous flows of 3 cfm or more through all ports, so that particles are not lost due to fallout or surface adhesion. House vacuum may be used if it is adequate to achieve the necessary flow rates through the sampling tubes.
