The Met One Model R2313/R2315 counters provide a tough exterior for demanding environments where exposure to chemicals such as solvents and disinfectants is common. Using a sample rate of 1.0 cfm (28.3 L/min), these counters give statistically good evaluations of cleaner environments, such as ISO Class 5 (FS209E Class 100). The exterior metal components including the box itself are manufactured from 316L Stainless Steel (A4) to provide superior resistance to common disinfectants and mild chemicals. Extensive use of gaskets and O-rings prevent intrusion of dust and fluids into the counter enclosure, enhancing reliability and lifetime.
The built-in (internal) vacuum pump provides a sample rate of 1.0 cfm with a continuous duty cycle for uninterrupted sampling. The patented pump design does not require lubrication or replacement of carbon vanes_it has none! The laser diode light-scattering sensor profiles particles starting at either 0.3 microns (Model R2313) or 0.5 microns (Model R2315). The sensor is installed in a unique module that can be quickly removed and exchanged in the event of sensor contamination or for rapid calibration.
The display module can either be mounted directly on the cabinet or can be positioned up to 50 feet (15 meters) from the counter to allow better viewing by the operator. Standard communications via RS485 allows the counter to be positioned up to 4000 feet (about 1200 meters) from the data acquisition computer. The typical system provides two channels of count sizes but can be ordered with up to six channels. If your application demands a particle counter with the ability to run 24/7 and handle a tough environment, the Model R2313/R2315 counters are the best choice!
